The Imperial Hotel is located on the Ringstrasse, 100 m from the Vienna State Opera. The building (1863), originally built as a palace for the Prince of Württemberg, was converted into a hotel in anticipation of the World Exhibition of 1873. The last renovation took place in 2005.
